This study will focus on collecting data that can be directly applied to the conservation of Marbled teal and his habitat. The study will concentrate on the precise ecological requirements of the species, and will identify ways in which these requirements can be met more extensively in Andalucía to allow its Marbled Teal population to increase. Thorough analyses will be made of the habitat use made by Marbled Teal throughout the annual cycle with the aim of identifying habitat features favoured by the species and those likely to allow optimal survival and reproductive success.
